Join us for a FREE educational and empowering Q&A session with Mary Hudgins, a seasoned nurse with over 45 years of experience in cardiac care. Mary will share her vast knowledge and passion for heart health, focusing on:
- Understanding what heart disease is
- Identifying your risk factors
- Learning actionable steps to decrease your risk
- Recognizing and reacting appropriately in a cardiac emergency
Mary's extensive background includes working in Cardiac Intensive Care, teaching at Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University, and her current role as a Process Improvement specialist for Heart Attack Care at Emory Healthcare. This session is open to the public, so bring your questions and your curiosity!

Speaker Bio:
Mary Hudgins has been a nurse for 45 years, holding a Diploma in Nursing from Hall School of Nursing, a Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University, a Master's in Nursing with a concentration in education from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University, and a Post Master's certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. With a passion for community education on heart health and early heart attack care, Mary's career has been dedicated to Cardiac Intensive Care, the Cardiac catheterization lab, and coordinating stroke and cardiac care programs.
