
This February, we're dedicating the month to love—not just the kind you share with others, but the love you show yourself. At Empower Yoga Hartwell, we're embracing "Breathe, Move, Love" a focus on connecting with our bodies, minds, and breath through mindfulness, movement, and meditation.
What to Expect This Month:
Slow Flows Slowed Even Further: Our slow flow classes will move at an even more intentional pace, inviting you to pause, feel, and truly experience each pose.
The Power of Breath: We'll explore pranayama techniques to love and nurture our nervous system, calm the mind, and strengthen the immune system.
Pilates with Purpose: Our Pilates classes will highlight slower, intentional movements connected to breath, offering a beautiful way to strengthen and honor your body.
Self-Love Through Challenge: In all our classes, we’ll encourage you to meet yourself exactly where you are—without judgment or criticism—and invite you to explore your edge with kindness and curiosity.
Why Loving Presence Matters: Life moves fast, and we often move with it—rushing, striving, and critiquing ourselves along the way. This month, we’re stepping out of that cycle. Mindful movement and breathwork help us build a relationship of love and gratitude with our bodies, improving not just our physical health but also our mental and emotional well-being.
When we meet ourselves with love, we give our nervous system a break from stress, create space for joy and healing, and become more present in every aspect of life.
Ways to Practice Loving Presence Outside the Studio:
Start each morning with a gratitude practice: write down three things you love about yourself or your body.
Try a simple breath practice like Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) for 3–5 minutes to reset your nervous system.
Speak to yourself with the same kindness and encouragement you’d offer a loved one.
